We congratulate the two young artists selected, Laura Bollati and Cara Seccafien, who will receive a grant * for their trainig on electro-etching in the worshop-residence in summer of 2017.

Laura Bollati, Italy (1991), Master Degree in Graphics at Albertina Art Academy, Torino, Italy. March 2016. She started to make some experiments in her hometown, in the basement, following the textbooks of Alfonso Crujera and Cedric Green. Etching with electrolysis has been the topic of her Master Degree thesis. She is working at Atelje Larsen in Helsingborg, Sweden.

Cara Seccafien, Canada (1991), obtained her Bacherlor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Univesity of Alberta in Edmonton. Canada. 2013. She has held artist residencies at Malaspina Printmaker's Society in Vancouver and Paul Art Space in Missouri. As well she founded WePress Community Art Space in Vancouver, where she teaches letterpress and block printing.

*The grant consists of free accommodation for two weeks and the trip to and from the airport to the residence at the beginning and end of the stay, for two artists post-graduates in Fine Arts between 2012 and 2016, under thirty.
